I can’t wait to see who the next book will be about!!! All the characters from previous books and their children showed up in the second half and more stories were being told. It helped create a pretty good tension that made the eventual love scene hot and satisfying.
Born of Fury The League: Sherrilyn Kenyon is the queen of the tortured hero. What once was a great world of assassins and intrigue is now nothing more than a different vehicle for the by-the-book love stories her Dark Hunter books are now showing.
I love how crazy these alien nations are and how absurd the beliefs and custom. The customs of Phrixians were somewhat explained in Cloak and Silencewhich i appreciated, but i still wanted more. Martin’s Press in exchange for an honest review.
Kind of out of character for him and didn’t feel quite right. Does norn give up her daughter for the love she is feeling for Dancer or does she do as she was ordered and bring the Sentella down? Characters from sherriljn installments are featured in more than a cameo fashion so knowing their back stories is important to appreciate this current one.
Born of Fury (The League, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
And along the way, he’s being hunted. What helped balance this, though, was the connection he had to his friends in the Sentella. Sumi is sherrilyb after intel to use against Hauk as a way for Kyr, League commander, to get revenge against Hauk’s untouchable royal comrades.
This very scarred Andarion male can take a beating and keep on kicking time and time again.
It’s about the strange ways humans form family bonds with people who aren’t sherrilgn with shared blood but demonstrate shared values. So disappointed, I liked Hauk in the other books, and as a supporting character he was great, actually all of her characters are great until you get into their head and find out that they are all the same people. The war is on… Counted among the fiercest Andarion warriors ever born, Hauk is one of the five founding members of the Sentella: I know they’re part of a group that is going against the League, and they pretty much are always in danger, but Jesus Christ, the amount of eye rolling I had to do when Nyk would threaten someone for even looking at Thia caused them to almost pop out of my head.
There was also plenty of action in this book, Hauk was on some kind of extreme-camping-coming-of-age gig with his young nephew and oc also being chased by a horde of assassins and mercs.
Of course, he only had to do this for so many years as long as no children were involved, and if children were, until the last one passed his endurance.
He will do whatever it takes to survive and protect his Sentella brethren. I can’t wait to see more books about Sentella members, and from what I’ve gathered, next we will see Fain, Talyn Batur and Bastien in the main roles.
Want me to like a book? Hauk just wasn’t that interesting to me, and I think it’s weird that Kenyon made Sumi so much more interesting than the male protagonist. Sumi is sent after intel to use against Hauk as a lenyon for Kyr, League commander, to get revenge against Hauk’s untouchable royal comrades. Sherriln is forbidden to find comfort so he uses his energy to protect his family and friends, and he is ferocious.
Like the books before it, Born of Fury is sexy, heartwarming and dangerous. Not to mention half of this books fuy line was spent on rehashing Hauks past, especially the loss of his brother, instead of actual action Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read.
The only question is, will he help her to live Her lover wants him out of the way. If you have not. It was sherrliyn funny when Sumi went to assassinate the woman that tried to kill Hauk, and then all his friends started showing up because they also wanted to avenge him.
It was a little hard to buy but her overall cuteness saved it for me. Close Report a review At Kobo, we try to ensure that published reviews do shrerilyn contain rude or profane language, spoilers, or any of our reviewer’s personal information.
Althought Andarions are a little okay alot more blood thirsty and violent than we were. How do I know who your favorites are? Mar 25, Kristalia rated it it was amazing Shelves: Thanks for telling us about the problem.

While there isn’t a major cliffhanger, there is a storyline that continues throughout the series. Preview — Born of Fury by Sherrilyn Kenyon. I feel bruised and battered from all the wounds these characters received.
