After reading this book, I respect him most for his tenacity and for his ability to thrash his way forward even though he has no idea who he is as a person for much of the book. And the way Andre A. This book kept me awake at night. Generally considered by critics and fellow players to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time, Agassi has been called the best service returner in the history of the game.
Having been a fan of pro-tennis since I was a kid, I was intrigued with Agassi when he debuted on the tour I’ll even admit to owning a pair of those denim shortsbut somewhere along the way something went astray and it took to the last couple of years of his career for me to re-warm up to him.
After learning that the surname Agassi was of Iranian origin, I didn’t care a bit about tennis for a couple of years.
